Risk & Compliance Manager

As Risk & Compliance Manager, I support the business with managing our compliance processes and compliance-based risks, helping to ensure that we operate within the frameworks set by legal, regulatory and professional standards. I work closely with our Compliance Officers to maintain compliance across the firm, develop our compliance systems and processes and facilitate training.

I’m passionate about helping the team to work confidently and responsibly, ensuring that compliance remains a natural part of how we do business. I’m committed to delivering practical solutions that work.

I’ve got over 20 years of experience working in law firms of various sizes in various roles and sectors. I’m proud to say that I worked my way up from my first entry level business support position in a local law firm. Several years in, I studied part time and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2012, practising in Debt Recovery, Litigation and Insolvency. Fast forward several more years and I decided to switch up my career, joining White & Black as our CEO’s Executive Assistant in 2021, moving into the role of Head of Operations in 2022 before side stepping to focus on legal risk and compliance.
