Charlotte Thompson
Executive Assistant
As the Executive Assistant to our CEO, my role enables her to fully focus on the strategic direction of the business.
This includes day-to-day diary management, responding efficiently to needs as they arise, and looking ahead and anticipating the ways in which I can best support. Close collaboration and clear communication are key aspects of the role and I enjoy helping align daily operations with wider company objectives.

With a strong desire for organisation, I take great satisfaction from seeing a job through from start to completion. Having always had a passion for the piano, I believe that many of the skills required to execute a beautiful piece of music are also essential when it comes to effectively supporting a law firm. In both cases, a combination of focus, precision, skill, and flexibility is so important and whether I’m playing the piano or supporting our CEO, these are all absolutely key in order to excel. I have always found myself drawn to the operational aspects of running a law firm. Without effective back-office systems in place a law firm will never succeed so it’s crucial to get it right from the roots up and I thrive from working behind the scenes as part of a team who works hard to achieve this.
I have worked in the legal sector for fifteen years and many of those have been spent at White & Black. Since joining the firm back in 2013 I have worked in many varying areas of the business. Having previously overseen the firm’s operations, including taking the lead on our contracts management, I have gained a wealth of experience and have built a strong foundation which I have brought into my current role. I am incredibly proud to be able to say that I have been part of White & Black for so long and that I continue to play a part in the firm’s journey.
