I am a Senior Associate specialising in resolving commercial disputes. I provide straightforward advice to help clients navigate risks and find solutions to the challenges of running a business.

I have resolved disputes ranging from the run-of-the-mill to the esoteric, involving complex contracts; intellectual property; issues with partners, shareholders, and directors; professional negligence; and product liability. I enjoy collaborating with clients to head off potential issues at an early stage; however, I also have extensive experience of taking cases to trial.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, I had a rewarding career in publishing strategy, gaining deep understanding of the challenges of growing a business, organically and through acquisition. Collaborating with lawyers on a variety of subjects, I gained insight into what makes great legal advice: not just recitation of the law, but actionable recommendations that dovetail neatly with clients’ business strategies. As such, I am particularly adept at considering not just legal options, but practical solutions that factor in our clients’ wider aims and context.

Before joining White & Black in 2023, I gained experience at a large independent firm, after qualifying at a large national firm. At White & Black I have gained extensive exposure to high-profile disputes, involving regulatory and international elements, and pride myself on my ability to get quickly up to speed with complex issues as well as on my friendly collaborative approach.
