Alex Reedrow
Trainee Solicitor
I’m a Trainee Solicitor, currently studying for the SQE. As such, I spend time across the whole firm and benefit from great insight into the range of business challenges and opportunities that face our clients – as well as the breadth of strategic advice that we, as lawyers, can offer.
Having spent the best part of a decade in academia, which involved many a lonely hour in the library, I pride myself on taking ownership of my work. This mentality translates well to how we do things at White & Black; we view clients’ problems like our own and partner with them in their success.

Here, however, I enjoy this all while working with brilliant colleagues who share the same mind. We move matters forward and make a positive difference.
I have been part of the firm since the start of 2024, before which I completed a PhD in Theology. My studies have taken me to many places, but Oxford, where I first came for an MPhil in 2018, has long felt like home. It is a pleasure to learn the law in a city both steeped in history and on the cutting edge of modern research.
