Alex Reedrow
Associate
I am an Associate at White & Black. I specialise in resolving commercial disputes, and while this involves familiarity with court procedure and keeping calm in a crisis, I enjoy helping clients more broadly to navigate the everyday risks of running a business.
I advise on a wide range of disputes, from complex contractual claims to professional negligence, problems with shareholders and directors, and product safety and liability. Recent work includes advising corporates involved in the Grenfell litigation; supporting a large, listed company in complying with data privacy and protection and handling multiple DSARs; as well as taking several investment-related disputes to mediation.
I take an active interest in businesses that are innovative and impact or purpose driven. This includes investment in the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Corridor and the UK B Corp movement. I am passionate about ongoing developments in legal technology, and I pride myself on leveraging the best tools available. I lead, for example, in our firm’s eDiscovery platform, Relativity, and work closely with our vendors.
Prior to joining White and Black in 2024, where I trained and qualified via the SQE route, I completed a PhD in Theology. I am currently in the process of publishing my dissertation as a monograph in my spare time. I bring my love for learning and an innate curiosity to my work, and I take a genuine interest in clients and their businesses.
