Madeleine Brown
Paralegal
As a paralegal, I provide support across a range of legal and administrative matters, working closely with the teams to ensure cases and projects progress smoothly. Alongside my role, I am studying at the University of Law, which allows me to apply my academic learning to practical experience in the firm.
I spend a lot of time writing creatively, and I have always enjoyed the challenge of figuring out how different elements will fit together. This mindset has carried through to my role today, where I approach problems methodically and look for solutions that are clear, practical and efficient. I enjoy finding ways to make complex things work, and with a background in History, I continue to build on these skills as I develop my legal knowledge and experience.

Before moving into law, I gained experience in operational and administrative roles which allowed me to hone my organisational skills and adaptability. Prior to joining the firm, I also spent time living and working in a boarding school in Australia, where I learned the importance of flexibility and responsibility in a professional environment. I am excited to continue developing my legal career with White & Black, and I look forward to progressing on my journey towards qualifying as a solicitor.
