We’re delighted to be playing a key part in the re-launch of the Citizen’s Advice Pro-Bono Legal Clinic in Oxford. Following a hiatus during the pandemic, the legal clinic is making a return and White & Black lawyers will be playing an integral part.
White & Black lawyers will be meeting with clients to discuss their cases, pro-bono, at the legal clinic every fortnight.
Head of Marketing & CSR, Sam Ridgway said: “When Citizen’s Advice approached us about helping with the relaunch of the pro-bono legal clinic, we just couldn’t say no. This is another brilliant opportunity for our lawyers. First and foremost, to get out there, into our immediate community, and use their skills and knowledge to really make a difference to people’s lives, but also to develop their own skills as junior lawyers. Not only is this a great opportunity for our lawyers, but assisting with the legal clinics aligns perfectly with our CSR strategy, focussing on hyper-local community outreach opportunities, using our skills and position to benefit the community around us”.
